Lithuanian musicians and music producers are often facing difficulties to conquer Europe’s music charts, but this year, one youngster got lucky with his single and reached top among other famous songs from European countries. In 2014, Lithuanians were happily affected of Ten Walls success with their Walking with Elephants hit which took 6th place in UK Top 40 Singles Chart.
Electronic music DJ and producer Edvinas Pechovskis known as Dynoro, got famous in the year of 2017 by releasing his single In My Mind which reached highest positions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Finland, Slovakia and Hungary’s music chart lists and also kept steady with seventh place at Spotify’s Global Top 50, received 142 million viewers on Youtube . In My Mind is a mix of DJ’s Ivan Gough and Feenixpawl hit from 2012 and also includes a melody from Italian musician’s Gigi D’Agostin song L’Amour Toujours.
However, not everything went so well. In January 2018, the single was removed because of copyright issues. Though, at the same month Dynoro managed to release a new version of Taio Cruz hit Hangover. Recording studio B1 Recordings from Germany noticed young DJ’s talent and allowed him to use a song which successfully climbed Europe’s TOP 10 chart list.
When Edvinas was just 13 years old, he constantly uploaded various remakes on Sounclound and Spotify platforms. In addition, last year he collaborated with Lithuanian hip-hop group Room 8 and together released a single Tau Taip atrodo.
Despite the huge success abroad, followers on Facebook are asking why Lithuanian media does not pay enough attention to Dynoro achievements. Though, in 2014 whole country was very pleased with Marijus Basanov-Adomaitis Ten Walls success.
